HELLO!
I was born and raised in Western Canada, and my wife and I presently live just outside Saskatoon. Faith, nature, and rural life have shaped much of who I am. From farming and caring for cattle to serving in the church and a variety of other roles, God continues to use my experiences to transform me, influencing the stories I tell.
“Sometimes catching a fish interrupts my fishing.”
Over the years, I’ve discovered the power of a good story—not simply to entertain, but to make us think, feel, question, and sometimes see something familiar in an entirely new way.
I’d love to hear what resonated with you in my stories or reflections.
I’m drawn to the people behind history—the ordinary men and women who lived through extraordinary events. In my fiction, I try to imagine what they might have seen, feared, questioned, and believed, while remaining grounded in the historical and biblical world they inhabited.
Through their stories, I explore faith, truth, hope, and grace, along with questions many of us still wrestle with today.
